The massed ranks of the Astra Militarum, or Imperial Guard in Low Gothic, are more commonly seen marching bravely across hellish battlefields in massive numbers than sneaking around in tight-knit teams. When the need arises, they too are formed into specialist kill teams and sent to perform nigh-suicidal missions. Unlike their comrades in the infantry, Tempestus Scions are far more used to these kinds of tasks, and they embark upon them with reckless bravado.
