Freed from the meatgrinder of the front lines, many Kommandos live long enough to discover an innate passion for a particular form of violence, be it with a burna, shoota, or choppa.

All Orks find a primal enjoyment in firing the loudest, deadliest guns they can find. Some take it to such an extent that they start to develop some semblance of accuracy too.

To better close the distance to their foes, some Orks carry crude breaching equipment that allows them to careen through solid stone walls as if they were made of paper.

Burna Boyz are often found among Ork hordes, and they frequently find a use for their blazing obsession within specialised Kommando kill teams as deadly terror weapons.

The Boss has a plan, and woe betide any Boy who doesn’t follow it to the letter. To ensure they don’t ‘forget’, Comms Boyz are used to relay the Boss’ genius orders to their comrades.

It’s not difficult to find a volunteer when the Kommandos need something blown to pieces, but it takes skill and dedication (or luck and enthusiasm) to ensure the rokkits actually go where they’re needed.

Even by Ork standards, Slasha Boyz love to get stuck into the fight. They coat themselves with all kinds of sharp objects to better rend their foes limb from limb.

Few Orks have the patience to master the art of marksmanship, but those who do find a wicked glee in watching enemies run for cover when the bullets fly.

For a Grot to survive in Ork society, they must be cruel, sneaky, and lucky. All of these are useful traits to a Kommando kill team, as it turns out.
